Not surprisingly when you look at who the most successful International Road Racers are in terms of race victories, one racer’s name stands firmly at the top, the legend that is Joey Dunlop.
The 26 times TT winner’s overall total of International road race victories stands at an incredible, astonishing 63!

The joint tied second most successful International roads exponents over the past 100 plus years are Ian Lougher and Phillip McCallen, who have both been victorious at the premier roads events on 37 occasions.
Others to secure at least 30 victories combined from TT, North West 200, Ulster GP, Macau Grand Prix, Scarborough Gold Cup feature race affiliated competition are Bruce Anstey (35), John McGuinness (33), Michael Dunlop (31), Ian Hutchinson (30) and Robert Dunlop (30).
Outside of the competitors to have acquired 30 International race triumph’s or more, there has been to date a further six racers to record at least 20 coveted victories from combined TT, NW200, UGP, Macau GP, Gold Cup competition. They are as follows:
Michael Rutter (29), Alastair Seeley (24), world’s fastest road racer Peter Hickman (23), David Jefferies (23), Mike Hailwood (21) and Tony Rutter (21).
As aforementioned these stats in terms of International road race victories, are based upon race wins at the TT, North West 200, Ulster Grand Prix, Macau Grand Prix and the feature race of the Scarborough Gold Cup.
