Third within the opening Solo B race of the 2017 Gold Cup meeting, County Durham’s Neil Bell who has outpaced many a famous name at England’s only closed roads course, is the next racer to take part in Road Racing News growing in popularity, Oliver’s Mount Top 8 series.

“Got taken to my first oliver’s Mount meeting with my dad as a young kid and from then I was hooked on racing and wanted one day to be on the grid.”
Q2: Favourite part about racing at the mount?
“It’s a dream come true to compete at Oliver’s Mount.”
Q3: Favourite section of Scarborough course?
“Has to be Jefferies Jumps.”
Q4: Best moment thus far at Scarborough?
“Securing a 3rd place finish at the Gold Cup meeting.”
Q5: All time Scarborough racing hero?
“Daley Mathison, close friend and helped me a lot through racing, nice lead and sadly missed.”
Q6: Is there one machine in particular that you would like to race at Scarborough?
“Hmm, tough one! But the new Norton!”
Q7: One word to describe Oliver’s Mount?
“The best meeting in England.”
Q8: Most respected racing rival at Scarborough?
“Don’t really have one but I’d say Paul Marley. We have had some close racing through our racing days.
