Lead privateer in the Lightweight Classic TT of 2016, two stroke specialist Rhys Hardisty is the next racer to take on Road Racing News, ten questions challenge.

The Welshman who’s set to form part of The Peoples Bike Team’s TT 2018 rider line up, answers to the popular series of questions, are as follows.

Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?

“Favourite national?? If were not talking Mountain course I love The Southern 100. The Clubs Brilliant. And the circuit is ace. Although id like to forget last year.”

Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?

“The best bike ever made, Yamaha TZ 250 or dream bike Yamaha YZR 500, gotta have a dream.”

Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?

“Going as fast as you can on your favourite road and not getting nicked!!”

Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?

“TT, I’d love to go to taste the Ulster GP that gets me twitching, but haven’t had chance yet.”

Q5: Most Respected Rival?

“I have nothing but respect for all competitors, there all propper.”

Q6: Best roads moment thus far?

“Podium at the Classic TT was special, all your life you dream of it, then it happens, it’s special.”

Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?

“Well being from gods country, Wales. Cymru am byth!!”

Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?

“I’m a massive mad Phil McCallen fan, but there’s only one Joey Dunlop. And he has always been god in our house.”

Q9: Supersport or Superbike?

“Superbike, yeeeeee ha.”

Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?

“Pole position, lap times mean Jack s**t, pole position start as you mean to go on.”
