By It’s a case of Czech road racing royalty when it comes to the next participant, in Road Racing News ten questions challenge, as it features 2012 Newcomers A Manx GP race winner and persistent front runner at Horice, Kamil Holan.
The extremely personable racer who hails from his nations capital, Prague, answers to the popular series of questions, are as follows.
Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?
“The best one in Czech Republic is for sure Horice. Love this track and atmosphere during the race weekend.”
Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?
“BMW S1000RR is the hammer. Goes with me for 4 season’s already. It is fast and my riding style suits it too.”
Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?
“The feeling when I cross the finish line. All the people in road racing are one big family.”
Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?
“Well I have only done the TT and it is out of this world. Will be happy to try North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix in the future.”
Q5: Most Respected Rival?
“I respect all riders who are on the grid with me. In the IRRC championship I am always having good races with for example Petr Biciste, David Datzer or Lukas Maurer in the Superbike class. In Supersport it is always fun to race with Wolfgang Schuster.”
Q6: Best roads moment thus far?
“Winning the Newcomers race at the Manx Grand Prix was the best moment for me. And every victory on local track in Horice will stay in my memories forever.”

Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?
“I would like to see road races around all Europe ha ha!. It would be great to have more competitors from all around.”
Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?
“There is a lot of big names. From the present riders it is John McGuinness and Ian Hutchinson.”
Q9: Supersport or Superbike?
Superbike is the category for me. I am too big for Supersport and I am always missing some horse power, actually I love to ride both.
Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?
“Fastest lap is more satisfying for me. Winning races is the best of course but I feel happy if I am holding fastest lap of the race and not winning.”
