Third in the 2015 Junior Classic TT, long term Mountain Course campaigner Doug Snow, who’s racing CV also includes a rostrum finish from the 2003 Tower Insurance Junior Classic Manx Grand Prix, is the next racer to take part in Road Racing News worldwide popular ten questions challenge.
A highly skilled exponent of yesteryear, two stroke machinery, his answers to the popular series of questions are as follows:
Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?
“Not one of the national roads meetings but the Belgium meetings are good, the long circuit at Chimay is a lot of fun.”
Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?
“Favourite bike I’ve raced is my RS125 Honda. One’s I wish I’d ridden would be the Britten and the Exactweld, love inventive engineering in racing.”
Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?
“Best part about the roads is the friends you make.”
Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?
“Would have to be the TT/Manx GP, never been to the North West 200 and after two attempts never managed to start a race at the Ulster GP.”
Q5: Most Respected Rival?
“John Goodall, great racer, engineer and a gentleman.”
Q6: Best roads moment thus far?
“First replica finish at the Manx GP in 1998, and to top it off my dad, brother and I picked up the team award as well.”
Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?
“Anywhere and everywhere, there’s hardly a place I go where I can’t see a nice bit of race track!”
Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?
“Joey Dunlop”

“Neither give me a proper racing bike any day.”
