Lead 400 mounted competitor, overall seventh within the 2015 Newcomers B Manx Grand Prix, 23rd in the opening Lightweight encounter from this years Manx GP, Shropshire’s Wayne Martin is the next racer to take part in Road Racing News worldwide popular, ten questions challenge.

Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?

“Manx Grand Prix”

Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?

“One’s I’m racing at the minute, SV650 Suzuki Super Twin and classic GSXR 750 Suzuki.”

Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?

“Being close to the walls and hedges, no room for error unlike a short circuit.”

Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?

“TT, because it’s a test of man and machine, being so long and fast.”

“Been racing to long to name one rider but anyone who races Isle of Man or Irish roads, deserves respect.”

Q6: Best roads moment thus far?

“Highlights so far being first 400 newcomer in 2015 at the Manx GP, leading a support class race at the Cookstown 100 until bike issues let me down.”

Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?

“Would like to see road racing in the UK, mainly Shropshire because that’s where I’m from, plenty of countryside.”

Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?

“Racing idols Hailwood (Mike), Joey (Dunlop).”

Q9: Supersport or Superbike?

“Supersport not raced a Superbike but really prefer small bikes and older machines.”

Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?

“Fastest lap”
