As widely anticipated, Ian Lougher’s proven Team ILR outfit will run Japan’s Masayuki Yamanaka in this years Monster Energy Supersport TT races.
Established amongst his nations leading International road racers of the modern era, the genial Yamanaka who finished second within the 2015 Newcomers C Manx GP race, is delighted to be joining Team ILR, who have in recent times helped develop the talent of leading next generation road racer Joe Thompson.
Set to pilot ZX-6R Kawasaki machinery in this June’s Supersport TT encounters, he recently stated via https://us8.campaign-archive.com/?u=a813756aa95aa83497c2c6692&id=9fb8279c0f about his link up with Team ILR:
“I am extremely happy to be able to compete Isle of Man TT with the team of Ian Lougher who I respect. I trust him and his team, so I am not concerned anything about the races at all.
I will do my best with all my strength for the sake of everybody who is supporting me and for myself!”

“I think Yamanaka has struggled with chassis set up the last two visits to the Isle of Man, and this really does zap your confidence when you set off down Bray Hill.
