There is set to be a strong Kawasaki presence at TT 2014. Leading Kawasaki’s entry into this years Isle of Man TT is Quattro Plant Kawasaki who are running reigning lightweight TT winner James Hillier. James who finished in a superb 4th place in last years senior TT race is currently the fifth fastest rider in TT history having lapped at 131.3 mph.
Also Kawasaki mounted for TT 2014 includes Karl Harris and Neil Gregory who are competing for Quelch Afterdark motorsport. Karl finished in 16th place in the superstock race at TT 2013 and is getting quicker and quicker at the worlds greatest road race whilst Neil Gregory made his Manx Grand Prix debut last year recording a top 10 finish in the newcomers A race.
Top 10 finisher in the opening supersport TT race in 2013 and top five finisher in the TT privateers championship Dan Cooper is also on Kawasaki machinery for this years Isle of Man TT competing for Tsingtao racing on a ZX6 Kawasaki in supersport races. RC express racing and Dean Harrison impressed many last season and runner up in last years Duke road race championship Dean is road racing’s biggest rising star. TT 2014 is set to see Dean fight for podium finishes in the big bike races.
Ryan Farquhar’s KMR Kawasaki team have a fantastic team for TT 2014 which features Ryan making his TT comeback in the lightweight TT race with Keith Amor also returning to TT action.
The team also features rising road racing star Connor Behan, newcomers B Manx Grand Prix runner up in 2013 Joe Faragher and 125/moto 3 star Danny Webb who making his TT debut. Kawasaki’s a many are entered in the lightweight TT race including Stewart Smith racing running Jamie Hamilton and James Cowton, Mckinstry racing running Ivan Lintin and CMS racing running Davy Morgan.
In all the overall line up for Kawasaki at this years Isle of Man TT looks like being of the highest quality. Kawasaki in particular look strong in the lightweight, supersport and superstock categories. The superbike and senior races see the famous manufacturer have a top variety of teams competing on ZX10 Kawasaki’s, this includes CD racing who are teaming up with Derek Shiels and Horst Saiger competing in his second TT having lapped at over 123 mph in his first year.
