The superbike and solo championship races entry list at this years Southern 100 is a exciting one with TT winners, rising stars, up and coming riders and Manx Grand Prix all set to do battle for victories at the friendly races.
Michael Dunlop following four wins in a week at TT 2014 is all set to try and regain the Southern 100 solo championship competing on the same factory backed BMW superbike which has brought him this year superbike and senior TT successes.

Its fantastic news for all Southern 100 supporters that at this moment in time arguably the best road racer in the world is in action on the Billown based road race circuit and that this years senior TT winning bike will be in action.
Reigning Southern 100 solo championship champion Guy Martin is going into this years Southern 100 with an added confidence after victory in his class on his debut at Pikes Peak.

Its been a consistent season so far for Guy who was back on the podium at the Isle of Man TT with second and third place finishes in superbike and senior TT races. Guy competing on Tyco Suzuki by TAS superbike will be aiming to secure his third solo championship victory at Southern 100.
William Dunlop is set to be in action at the Southern 100 after his crash in this years senior TT. Despite this William will still start as one of the favorites going for superbike wins at the friendly races.
North West 200 superbike race 1 victory was William’s first international road race success on a superbike and his first major win for Tyco Suzuki by TAS. Could Southern 100 solo championship victory be on the cards, there’s no reason why William cannot achieve this.
Dan Kneen is producing an amazing run of results presently after superbike and grand final race wins on his debut at Kells road races and then four podium finishes on his debut at the Bush road races.
Cookstown Burrows engineering racing rider Dan ran at the front in opening laps of first superbike race at 2013 Southern 100 and has every opportunity of securing top results at this years event competing on GSX-R 1000 Suzuki superbike which has already brought him this year a lot of success.

Dean Harrison most recently secured a superb hat trick of wins at Barry Sheene road race festival at Oliver’s Mount including Barry Sheene trophy victory. Following lightweight TT victory and second place finish in superstock TT Dean is riding brilliantly going into 2014 Southern 100.
Solo championship victory is on the radar for Deano who’s momentum in road racing is growing and growing. The RC Express racing ZX10 Kawasaki superbike broke Southern 100 lap record in second superbike race in 2013 and has the potential to provide Dean with blue riband race success at this years Southern 100.
Jamie Hamilton hit top form at Bush road races with four wins in a day including setting a new lap record. Having made his Southern 100 debut back in 2012 the rider nicknamed the hammer has since then gone onto record two wins with both victories coming in super twin races.

Jamie has clicked with Wilson Craig racing CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade recently and the combination is set to be fighting for podium finishes in superbike and solo championship races at Southern 100.
TT 2014 privateers champion Ivan Lintin is greatly looking forward to Southern 100 where he looks set to challenge for top results on Taylor Lindsey racing CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade.

Ivan most recently won second modern senior race at Barry Sheene road race festival at Oliver’s Mount and is producing a run of consistent results this season across all classes.
James Cowton is this year proving why he is one of the fastest rising stars in road racing. Debut podium finish in lightweight TT has being arguably the main highlight this season which has also included debut podium finishes at North West 200.
James is set to be Honda mounted for feature Southern 100 solo championship race. In 2013 the former newcomers C Manx Grand Prix winner secured seventh place finish and was leading supersport 600 rider home in the race.
Simon Fulton, Paul Gartland, Tom Robinson are all looking forward to this years Southern 100 as they all bid for good results in superbike and solo championship races.
Newcomers include at 2014 Southern 100 Michael Russell 2009 senior Manx Grand Prix winner competing on a CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade and Michael Moulai top five finisher in 2013 junior Manx Grand Prix.
