Skerries 100: Practice Wrap Up

Day one of competitive action at the 2019 Country Crest Skerries 100, saw an abundance of prominent Irish roads stars, rising next gen talent, a certain high profile event returnee all gain a strong amount of track time from the non timed practice sessions.

With the practice sessions not timed, this means that starting grid positions for tomorrow’s races, will be decided via current per class Irish Road Race Championship standings.

Cause of this notion, this means that anticipated respective pole sitters for the Supersport, Grand Final races are Bert Racing’s Kevin Fitzpatrick and BE Racing In Conjunction With Richardson Kelly Racing’s Derek Sheils.

Gary Dunlop looks set to take pole for the 125/Moto 3 race, whilst others on course for pole position’s include yesteryear machinery racing great Barry Davidson, who is favourite to head the Junior 350, Senior 500 Classic fields.

Roads close tomorrow around the Skerries course from 08:00 AM, ahead of a 10 race schedule, with race action hoped to get underway from 10:30 AM.
