Sam Johnson has announced his schedule for the 2016 pure road racing season.
Sam’s season begins at the season opening Mid Antrim 150 on the 1st to the 2nd of April, as he competes for the first time at the meeting which returns for the first time since 2013.
Next up for the ambitious rider is the Tandragee 100, then the Cookstown 100 before returning to Oliver’s Mount for the Cock of The North Road Races.
Further planned meetings in 2016 for Sam include making his Ulster Grand Prix debut, alongside action at the Southern 100 and the prestigious Scarborough Gold Cup.
One of the main highlights of the year is set to be competing for the third at the Manx Grand Prix.
For this years Manx Sam is set to compete for the first time in the junior and senior races, piloting JK Construction backed YZF R6 Yamaha.
He’s also a potential entrant at the Classic TT, he is at present on the lookout for machinery to enable him to compete in the popular event.
Mostly known for his exploits on 400,650 machinery on the roads, Sam Johnson is aiming to in 2016 establish himself as a highly accomplished competitor in the hugely competitive supersport class.
