Roy Richardson to race moto 2 bike at the Isle of Man TT next year

It has been announced today that seasoned TT rider Roy Richardson will race moto 2 bike in the senior TT next year. The team making the moto 2 bike are from Huddersfield university and have technical support from World performance racing MV Augusta. The moto 2 bike looks like it will be based around a MV Augusta F3 supersport bike.

Two years ago we saw a moto 2 bike race at the TT in 2010 with Ollie Linsdell on-board the FTR moto 2 bike. Despite the bike not finishing the senior TT race, Ollie managed a lap speed of over 120 mph on the FTR moto 2 bike, making it the first ever lap of over 120 mph on the Isle of Man TT circuit by a moto 2 bike.
