The 2014 senior TT provided Michael Dunlop with his 11th TT victory. Competing on BMW Hawk racing superbike the fastest rider in TT history from a standing start was down in seventh position at Glen Helen on lap 1 but by the end of the opening lap had gone into race lead.
From here he kept up a rapidly quick consistent pace which included on lap 2 setting a new senior TT lap record with lap speed of 131.668 mph.
Victory in this years senior TT was also Michael’s first win in the blue riband race at the most famous road race in the world. Its not known as yet as to who he will be competing for at TT 2015 although it appears action on Suzuki’s is a strong possibility.
