The highly acclaimed, world-famous Brno circuit played host to prime 21st Century racing over the past weekend, as the annual Spring Prize event took centre stage.
Racers competing included Czech road racing alumni such as triple IRRC Supersport Champion, Marek Cerveny.
Switching to 765 Triumph power for his IRRC Supersport title defence, which opens in early May at Hengelo, Cerveny’s foremost moments at Brno, were not middleweight class featured.
Instead, the 25 times IRRC race winner, took on the starring role in the Super Twin races, speeding to back-to-back race victories.
Amongst those giving it everything in pursuit of Cerveny included fellow RS 660 Aprilia pilot Michal Dokoupil.
No.13 plate holder for this year’s Super Twin TT race stints, ‘Indi’ banked respective third, second place finishes.
Fellow Czech roads talents lighting up past Saturday, Sunday’s action included Supermono Race 1 victor Petr Najman, Karel Pesek and big bike pace setter, Dymokury lap record holder Michal Prasek.
