Taking place at the same time as the CDE Group Cookstown 100, NG Road Racing Oulton Park round, multiple roads scene favourites sampled the second No Limits Racing round of 2023, at Cadwell Park.
No.1 plate holder for the 1000cc encounters of TT 2023, Adelaide’s David Johnson returned to winning fortunes on Saturday, sealing alongside C&L Fairburn Properties by Jackson Racing team-mate Billy McConnell, Ebay ACU National Endurance Championship race honours.
Between them, 2019 Superbike Classic TT winner Johnson, good friend McConnell completed 114 laps, two more than fellow team-mates Simon Reid, son of Irish road racing legend Brian Reid and Ash Beech.
Phil Crowe sprinted to Pirelli Super Series 1000 race one spoils, Preston’s Lewis Arrowsmith maintained his formidable early season speed, ending the weekend’s action with Super Twins race three victory.
Top Oliver’s Mount newcomer at this month’s Bob Smith Spring Cup, Andy Smart took second in the opening Pirelli Super Series 600 race whilst prospective TT newcomer Jorge Halliday captured the imagination of those watching track side.
Tamworth GYTR Pro Shop Cup 600 winners’ times three, the final middleweight class race stint would see Halliday place a very creditable fifth overall.
No Limits Racing action now rolls onto the Donington Park National circuit, with competitive stints commencing on the 6th of May.
