Racing Return Beckoning For Manx Roads Greats

Various Manx road racing greats are set to be back racing next month, as competitive action returns to the Jurby Airfield course.

Thanks to the Isle of Man’s success in combating the Covid-19 pandemic, a two day meeting at Jurby ran by Andreas Racing Association Ltd, is set to take place on the 11th-12th of July.

Riders planning to tackle the two day event include 2011 Super Twins Manx GP winner, FC Moore team’s Dave Moffitt and triple Manx GP victor Michael Evans.

Evans who placed 17th within the second Supersport encounter of TT 2018, upcoming racing return will see him pilot the Wilcock Consulting supported S1000RR BMW, that’s performed impressively around Billown and the Mountain Course.

It’s fantastic to report that race action on Manx shores in 2020 is finally on the horizon. As anticipation builds for top draw racing at Jurby it’s worth mentioning from a pure road racing perspective, that’s it under 12 months till TT 2021!
