Principal Insurance, have been confirmed today as the title sponsors for the Junior Support race, at the 57th Tandragee 100.
The insurance company, which has a great affinity with bikers, is delighted to be backing a class, which was previously participated in by 13 times TT winner Michael Dunlop and 2015 Duke Road Race Rankings champion, William Dunlop.
Principal Insurance’s Aly Dixon stated the importance of helping future talents, on the roads:
“Biking is very much about community, whether you’re talking everyday road riding or racing. There’s a bond, a shared passion, that we understand and are pleased to nurture in any way we can.
As a relatively new business ourselves we’re also fully on board with the concept of developing fresh and exciting new talent.”

Tandragee 100, Clerk of the Course, Anne Forsythe, added:
“The Junior Support Race is a great opportunity for new and upcoming competitors to learn their trade before moving on to compete in the bigger and faster classes.
We’re delighted that Principal Insurance has decided to invest in future racing talent and to support the Tandragee 100.”
Last years Junior Support race at Tandragee, saw McKinstry Racing’s James Chawke victorious, as 400 mounted Scott Miller and Warren Reeve, finalised the podium finishers.
A vast mix of 400’s, Super Twins and quite possibly the odd two stroke are guaranteed, for the class this year at the opening Irish roads meeting of 2017.
