Craig Robertson Plans More Roads Outing’s In 2017

Craig Robertson is planning to take in more roads meetings in 2017, having last year competed on the roads for the first time, at Oliver’s Mount.

The popular racer, event on event, gelled more and more with the tight and twisty Scarborough circuit.

Arguably his most prodigious moment, of his first year of competition at England’s only pure roads venue, was second place in the solo non qualifiers race, at the Barry Sheene Festival Powered by Suzuki.

Set to take in selected meetings this year at Scarborough, his opening roads outing of 2017, is set to be at the Spring Cup National Road Races.

Additional events pencilled in, include the Southern 100, as Craig plans to make his debut around the famous Billown circuit.

He is also considering a maiden venture into competition at Wales sole roads course, Aberdare Park.

Stepping up to the Supersport class with a new 675 Daytona Triumph stead, having piloted in 2016 ZX7R Kawasaki machinery, Craig is confident of securing series of excellent results.

With under 60 days till the Spring Cup, the excitement/anticipation is building for all prospective participants, it’s no different for Craig, set to return to the event, which started his transition into pure road racing.
