Michael Rutter Joins Forces With SMT Racing For Supersport TT Races

Michael Rutter has joined forces with the SMT/Carbridge racing team for the supersport races at TT 2015.

The 1998 junior TT winner showed good form at TT 2014 in supersport races when competing on Smiths racing 675 Daytona Triumph.

Opening Monster energy supersport race saw ninth position achieved following a highly accomplished display from the four times TT winner.


Sixth position in opening supersport race at last years North West 200 is further proof that the eight times Macau Grand Prix winner is still as quick as ever in the hugely competitive class.

For 2015 supersport TT races he is set to compete on a high spec ZX6R Kawasaki, for SMT racing TT 2015 will represent their fourth year of competition at the most famous road race in the world.

One of the most successful pure road racers of the last ten years Michael goes into this years Isle of Man TT determined to secure more high quality results.

Armed with top class BMW, Kawasaki and Paton machinery for superbike, supersport, superstock, lightweight and senior races he is more than capable of adding to his current tally of 13 TT podium finishes.
