Adding a touch of world-class, iconic TT rider status to the 2023 CDE Group Cookstown 100, will be national road racing returnee, 21 times TT winner Michael Dunlop.
Recently participating in the National Superstock 1000 Championship races, at Silverstone, Dunlop’s upcoming Orritor Circuit tenure sees him set to race the Hawk Racing Honda Superbike, which he will also race across the North West 200 and TT Races.
Action aboard his own teams YZF R6 Yamaha, McAdoo Kawasaki’s Super Twin is also planned.
112 times an Irish road race winner, Dunlop’s Cookstown racing CV features 10 victories, holding the outright lap-record since 2013.
His confirmed entry, is a major fillip to Cookstown organisers, the Cookstown & District Motorcycle Club.
Reminder the opening Irish road race of 2023, commences from the 21st-22nd of April.
Alongside Hawk Racing’s Dunlop, added prominent roads scene forces due to compete include BE/RK Racing’s Michael Browne, WH Racing’s Julian Trummer, Parker Transport Racing’s Darryl Tweed and Skerries Michael Sweeney.
