Last night’s CDE Group Cookstown 100 press launch, made anticipation for the Irish road racing season opener, all the more prevalent.
Post various problems insurance related, the stage is now firmly set for another first rate Orritor Circuit extravaganza.
Racers confirmed to be Cookstown bound in just over two weeks (21st-22nd April), include:
Respective reigning Irish Road Race Superbike, Supersport Champions Michael Sweeney, Michael Browne (BE/RK Racing).
Parker Transport Racing’s Darryl Tweed, WH Racing’s Julian Trummer, Keelim Ryan, Frenchman Yannick Urban.
2018 Junior Manx GP winner James Chawke, Andy Hornby, rising talent Marcus Simpson and all-round pure roads legend Barry Davidson.
In terms of the upcoming race schedule, organisers have disclosed that there will be in total 17 races over two days, beginning with the Supersport B-race, titled sponsored by Doons Stores.
