Martin Jessopp goes into the 63rd Macau Grand Prix, established as one of the iconic road races proven front runners.
Already a three times Macau GP runner up, he’s determined to go one better this year, on the Riders Motorcycles S1000RR BMW.
It’s been thus far a positive year of roads competition, for the highly rated rider.
Hat trick of podium finishes at the Vauxhall International North West 200, was backed up by a maiden podium finish around the Mountain Course in the Lightweight TT.
An added highlight of TT 2016, was lapping at 129.245 mph, which places him amongst a very select amount of riders to have lapped at the most famous road race in the world, in excess of 129 mph.
Taking his total of international road race podium finishes this year to eight, it’s fair to say he deserves the title of been an accomplished roads competitor.
It’s arguably though at the Macau Grand Prix, where he has enjoyed his most positive roads moments to date.
Will he add his name to the illustrious list of Macau GP winners, on the 20th of November? in my opinion he has a great chance.
