Michael Sweeney To Make Macau Return

Two times Junior Manx Grand Prix winner, Michael Sweeney is set to compete for the third time at the Macau Grand Prix, as he aims to round off his 2016 roads campaign with a world class result.

Underated by some, Michael has had a solid and consistent roads season, illustrated by finishing third and fourth in the final standings of this years Irish road race Supersport and Superbike championships.

Additional highlights of the year have included a positive TT 2016, which saw him show accomplished form on the Martin Jones Racing ZX10R Kawasaki.

17th place finish in the Royal London 360 Quantum Superstock race, was backed up a more than creditable 20th in the Pokerstars Senior TT.

His performances at TT 2016, showcased his proven prowess around the world famous Mountain Course.

A first class competitor on 250, 400, Super Twin, Supersport and Superstock machinery, he’s arguably at present one of the most versatile pure road racers.

For the 63rd Macau Grand Prix, he again competes under the Martin Jones Racing, but switches to S1000RR BMW machinery, for the prestigious event in Far East Asia.
