IRRC Superbike Race 1:
Variable conditions were in prospect for what proved to be a quite enthralling, IRRC Superbike race opener at Frohburg.
After ten keenly contested laps, Belgian star Vincent Lonbois emerged best, taking a vital race success over title rival, race pole sitter David Datzer.
Just 1.565 seconds separated the Yamaha, BMW pilots whilst third place finisher Didier Grams, was only a further 0.498 behind MTP Racing’s Datzer.
Rounding out the top six were Performance Racing Achterhoek’s Virgil Amber Bloemhard, Erno Kostamo and Lukas Maurer, who’s chances of a maiden IRRC title ended.
Rapid Manx Grand Prix newcomer Amalric Blanc bagged seventh ahead of fellow countryman Eddy Ferre.
Marcel Elsner occupied ninth as former IRRC Supersport Champion Joey Den Besten, wrapped up the first ten finishers.

IRRC Superbike Race 2:
So, after 10 races across five different nations, just two points covered Vincent Lonbois and David Datzer, as the title decider beckoned.
Ultimately, it was Mototech supported Lonbois who would claim a second IRRC Superbike title.
Lonbois task was made easier following early Superbike race two challenges for MTP Racing’s Datzer, who on lap one, endured a high-side incident, from which he re-mounted.
Outright Frohburger Dreieck lap record holder Lonbois, went onto finish seventh whilst Datzer fought his way back up to fifteenth.
Whilst attentions a plenty were placed upon Superbike title contenders Lonbois, Datzer, lots of focus was also on first-time IRRC winner, meeting newcomer Clinton Warwick Seller.
Honda mounted Seller, competing under the Penz 13 umbrella, showed extremely impressive speed throughout, lapping despite the changing conditions in the mid 1.44 seconds bracket.
Seller’s top pursuer, finishing just over 3.7 seconds in arrears was Swiss ace Lukas Maurer.
Sweden’s Markus Karlsson bagged third whilst fourth, fifth, sixth respectively were Erno Kostamo, Didier Grams and Nico Muller.
