Now ten times a race winner at Scarborough, it’s fair to say BTS/NLC Components backed Jim Hind is already an Oliver’s Mount specialist.
Keen to progress further on Supersport machinery around the 2.43 miles long road-race circuit, the twice Manx GP victor, British Supersport top eight finisher recently stated:
“I’d like to get a good result on the 600, so I’ll focus on that more than the 250.”
Entering his second Gold Cup venture, on the back of cruel misfortune stopping him retaining the Lightweight Manx GP title, Hind admitted he was gutted post retiring from a 16-second plus lead.
“Proper gutted, run out of fuel, just the other side of Brandish, the left hander.
Was on the back of Lougher (Ian), just trying to get past him and it just went, ran out of fuel, bigger tank required for next year!”
Third in both of today’s Supersport A races at Scarborough, there’s no doubt about Hind’s potential for future great feats on the roads.
Looking towards 2023, he disclosed that he might be tackling some Irish road races alongside returning to Manx shores for the TT and Grand Prix.
He’s also confirmed that he will be competing again in the BTS/NLC Components colours across 2023.
The Scunthorpe based companies, continue to be loyal supporters of one of England’s brightest new wave roads forces.
