- 19 times Isle of Man TT winner John Mcguinness will this year for the first time enter the lightweight TT. It’s not yet known as to which bike or team John will be riding for but one thing is for sure that he will be highly competitive and will be aiming for race victory.
- Isle of Man road racing hero Conor Cummins is for this year entering the lightweight TT. Conor will be aiming for race victory in this class of racing on bikes known as super-twins.
- Making his debut in the lightweight TT this year is twice TT winner Chris Palmer. Chris will be competing on a Kawasaki ER6 super-twin and will be one of the favourites for race victory.
- Super-twins Manx grand prix winner in 2011 Dave Moffitt will be riding for the JHS racing team in the lightweight TT this year. Dave will be competing on a Suzuki SV650 super-twin and will be looking for at least a top 10 finish.
