Last Minute Valvoline Racing By Padgetts Motorcycles/Conor Cummins TT Deal

Last Minute Valvoline Racing By Padgetts Motorcycles/Conor Cummins TT Deal

Following on from his split from Jackson Racing, ahead of TT 2016, Conor Cummins has made a last minute switch to Valvoline Racing by Padgetts Motorcycles, for the supersport and superstock races, at this years TT Races.

Valvoline Racing by Padgetts Motorcycles team manager, Clive Padgett is delighted to be working with Conor at TT 2016, who for the first time in his pure road racing career, has Bruce Anstey as his team mate.

Padgetts CBR 600 Honda’s, are always ultra competitive, despite Conor been in my opinion more of a superbike specialist, he cannot be discounted from been in contention for at least top five finishes in the Monster Energy supersport encounters.

Looking towards the Royal London 360 superstock race, in my opinion it’s going to be a big ask for Conor to secure a top six finish, given the current superiority of the S1000RR BMW and ZX10R Kawasaki, in the superstock class.

The list of riders to have competed for Padgetts Racing at the Isle of Man TT, reads like a who’s who in pure road racing, it includes Philip McCallen, John McGuinness, Steve Plater, Ian Hutchinson, Gary Johnson, Mats Nilsson, Ian Armstrong, Bruce Anstey and Dan Kneen.

Conor Cummins is the latest roads star, set to compete for a team, which in the 2010’s to date has wrapped up eight TT victories, which includes Ian Hutchinson’s momentous five wins in a week, at TT 2010.
