By Sixth fastest rider in TT history Conor Cummins, has parted company with Jackson Racing, with just ten days till action begins at TT 2016.
The Manxman recently endured a frustrating Vauxhall International North West 200 on Jackson Racing’s CBR 600 Honda, in the supersport races.
Originally down to pilot the teams Honda’s in the Monster Energy supersport and Royal London 360 superstock races, at this years TT Races, Conor looks set to join ten time TT winner Bruce Anstey at Padgetts Racing, piloting top spec CBR 600 and CBR 1000 Honda machinery.
The former Ulster Grand Prix lap record holder, remains part of the Honda Racing fold for superbike competition during TT 2016.
Jackson Racing’s TT 2016 line up sees John McGuinness and Steve Mercer form a two rider team, with John participating in the Monster Energy supersport races, whilst Steve competes across all classes excluding TT zero and lightweight.
Their is also a possibility that the bikes now vacated by Conor Cummins, could be available to another rider.
Commenting on their TT 2016 plans, Jackson Racing said:

The team will remain with continued focus and drive on both John McGuinness and Steve Mercer ahead of the prestigious Isle Of Man TT road races.
Twenty-three time TT winner and current lap record holder John McGuinness will pilot Jackson Racing machinery in both Supersport events.
For Steve Mercer however, this now represents a wider opportunity to compete across the classes in Superbike, Supersport and Superstock categories.
“Steve has been extremely positive towards the development of the team since his inception. He delivered a very impressive performance at the recent Castle Combe test and is keen to build upon this at the TT races in a few weeks time.”
