Despite being a debutant to Kells road races Dan Kneen won a exhilarating superbike race on Cookstown Burrows engineering GSX-R 1000 Suzuki.
In a great race throughout Dan was battling for the lead with Derek Mcgee, the race went down to the final lap and Derek Mcgee had an off in pushing for race victory but was perfectly ok. Jamie Hamilton was a good third for Wilson Craig racing whilst Derek Sheils rounded out the top four.
James Kelly showed good form in seventh place, Wayne Kirwan following a consistent TT 2014 secured eighth place finish whilst Seamus Elliott produced another good performance finishing in ninth place.
Completing the top ten was Mark Hanna in a fantastic race for victory between Dan Kneen and Derek Mcgee. Dan is having a great year of road racing with victories this year achieved in grand final race at Cookstown 100, superbike and grand final race wins at Tandragee 100 and now superbike race success at Kells road races.
