William Dunlop’s return to pure road racing action adds a further exciting dimension to what is set to be a top class 2015 Kells Road Races.

William now recovered from crash in superstock practice session at TT 2015 before opening supersport race is set to compete on CD Racing’s YZF R6 Yamaha as he targets supersport race victory.

He’s already this season tasted success in supersport races at Cookstown 100 and Tandragee 100 plus secured top quality fourth place finish in supersport race two at the Vauxhall International North West 200.

Having enjoyed a brilliant TT debut Derek Mcgee goes into the Kells Road Races full of confidence.

The reigning Irish road race supersport champion will be amongst the favourites for race wins in open, supersport and grand final races as he pilots Wilson Craig Racing CBR 600 and CBR 1000 Fireblade Honda’s.

Plus he can’t be discounted for race victory in super twins as he competes on his own teams ER6 Kawasaki backed by Shane Wogan.

Recent 15th place finisher in Pokerstars senior TT Alan Bonner has the pace, speed and ability to record open and grand final victories as he participates on the peoples bike team ZX10R Kawasaki.

Alan was without a doubt amongst the most improved riders around the mountain course at TT 2015, cracking the 127 mph barrier alongside recording impressive results.

More quality to the line up for open, supersport, grand final races is added by Michal Dokoupil, Brian Mccormack, Damien Mulleady, Andy Farrell, James Kelly, Sarah Boyes.

Magic Bullet Motorsports backed Davy Morgan is another standout entrant, 2004 senior Manx Grand Prix winner Davy is set to compete on Honda machinery in open and grand final races.

Rising road racing star Paul Jordan is one to watch in super twins race as he takes to action on B&W Racing’s ER6 Kawasaki.

Connor Behan returns to Kells this time competing in 125/moto 3 race, recently the reigning Irish road race super twins champion enjoyed a strong lightweight TT finishing a great ninth.

Over the years at the Kells Road Races we’ve seen multiple fantastic races seeing the likes of Michael Dunlop, Ryan Farquhar, Keith Amor, Cameron Donald, Guy Martin, Gary Johnson all do battle for victories.

With a top quality line up close racing is virtually guaranteed in open, supersport, super twins, grand final races.

Arguably though the main excitement for fans at Kells will be the return to action of William Dunlop. The current leader of the Irish road race superbike championship will be looking for string of strong performances at Kells.
