Back in 1981 Jim made his Manx Grand Prix debut and has since then enjoyed a long and successful career of action on the mountain course.
Arguably Jim’s main highlight to date at TT races happened in 2002 when he clinched second place finish his first podium finish at the most famous road race in the world.
TT 2014 saw the road racing stalwart enjoy a thoroughly consistent TT, superbike race saw him record 42nd place finish whilst opening supersport race would see 41st position achieved.
Monster energy supersport race 2 saw the R6 Yamaha mounted competitor finish a highly creditable 25th following a tenacious and determined performance.
27th place finish in lightweight TT was chalked up to end TT 2014 in solid style.
For this years Isle of Man TT Jim is set to be ZX10 Kawasaki mounted for superbike, superstock and senior races whilst supersport races are set to see him R6 Yamaha mounted.
TT 2015 will mark 34 years since Jim made his mountain course debut, over the years he has competed against many of the greatest Isle of Man TT riders of all time including Philip Mccallen, Mick Grant, Carl Fogarty, John McGuinness, Jim Moodie, Ian Simpson, Robert Dunlop and the legendary Joey Dunlop.
