Jamie Hamilton Rounds Off 2014 Irish Road Racing Season In Style

Jamie Hamilton rounded off his 2014 road racing season in style at Killalane road races. In a highly competitive super twins race Jamie competing on VRS racing ER6 Kawasaki produced a battling performance in pursuit for race victory. Despite missing out race win he clinched a highly respectable third place finish.

Grand final race begun with the rider nicknamed the hammer starting from pole position. From here he was throughout dicing for race lead until Michael Dunlop took control. Second position was acquired for Wilson Craig racing rider competing on the teams CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade superbike.

Supersport race which was originally red flagged twice would see Jamie round up 2014 Killalane road races in top style with second place finish just been edged out for victory by Derek Mcgee by under 0.7 of a second. 2014 Irish road racing season has been at times a difficult one for Jamie Hamilton but there’s no doubt he has improved as a rider this year where he has achieved superbike race wins at Bush road races and Skerries road races.
