Today proved to be a fantastic day of racing at 2014 Killalane road races for Michael Sweeney. Michael began with victory in 250/400 race on Cookstown Burrows engineering racing RS250 Honda.
Michael has already won 2014 Irish road race 250 championship and made it a double race victory at Killalane with super twins race win on Kielty heating backed ER6 Kawasaki. Two time junior Manx Grand Prix winner won a closely fought battle with Derek Mcgee in what was without a doubt one of the best races today.
Grand final race was next up and Michael’s superb 2014 Killalane road races ended with third place finish after a solid, consistent and tenacious performance on Martin Jones racing ZX10 Kawasaki.
