James Hillier – Great opportunity starting at Number 1 in all solo class races


James Hillier is starting at number 1 for this years superbike, superstock, supersport, lightweight and senior TT races. James is for this years Isle of Man TT competing for the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team which is run by Bournemouth Kawasaki. James talked about how starting at number 1 in all the races is a great opportunity and one where he can make the most of it.

Plus James said starting at number 1 gives him the chance to become a better rider when competing alongside TT winners John Mcguinness, Cameron Donald, Bruce Anstey and Michael Dunlop. One of the races where James is aiming for a podium or race win is the lightweight TT race. James said about the lightweight TT race bike that he is competing on that he’s ” Never rode on short circuit before” James has only competed on the super-twin at the North West 200 and at the Isle of Man TT.

James also said about the lightweight TT bike that its not so daunting to ride when compared to competing on a superbike. James main aims for this years TT is to finish top 5 in every solo race and plus James said that he would love to win a race at this years TT.

Having made his TT debut in 2008 James Hillier has gone onto become one of the TT’s emerging rising stars. James achieved his first TT podium finish last year in the lightweight TT race, already this season James has achieved a podium finish at the North West 200 in the opening super-twin race. In all James gets better and better at the Isle of Man TT, he’s a talented rider but one that also combines being smooth and fast at the TT.
