Italian Mountain Course Hero Bonetti Unveils High Quality Machinery Line Up For TT 2019

Already established as unquestionably Italy’s most successful Mountain Course competitor of the modern era, the ever cheerful Stefano Bonetti has revealed recently that he will pilot a selection of high calibre machinery at TT 2019.

Fifth, fourth respectively aboard works S1, S1-R Paton steeds within the Lightweight TT encounters from 2016 and 2018, the genial Italian will maintain his link with the Paton factory for this years Bennetts Lightweight TT.

Alongside piloting top spec Paton machinery, TT 2019 also sees him jockey a Speed Motor backed S1000RR BMW within the RST Superbike, Royal London 360 Superstock and Pokerstars Senior races.

Outside of May, June’s TT competition, Bonetti who’s Mountain Course CV includes thus far 21 top 20 finishes, has also confirmed that he will venture back to Manx shores in August to take part for the first time in the Classic TT Races.

His maiden Classic TT quest has been given more than a touch of added prestige, given the fact that he’s set to be the first Italian racer in over 80 years since 1937 Lightweight TT winner Omobono Tenni, to compete on the Mountain Course on Moto Guzzi machinery.

The opportunity to create a unique piece of history has been made available thanks to the VAS Engine Racing team, who will run ‘Bonny’ on an immaculate Daytona Moto Guzzi mount in the yesteryear Superbike race.

Additionally North West 200 bound in May, he’s quietly confident of recording quality result after quality result this year within the premier International roads scene.
