Michael Dunlop took victory in this years Joey Dunlop championship at this years Isle of Man TT. The championship named after the TT’s most successful rider goes on a results by results basis from all the solo TT races, in the end the rider with the most points from all the solo races combined will win the Joey Dunlop championship.
For Michael Dunlop its being a brilliant 2 weeks of racing for him at this years Isle of Man TT. Winning 4 races, setting 2 new lap records in the supersport and superstock races, a new race record in the superbike race plus finishing setting a new personal best lap time around the TT course with a lap speed of 131.2 mph, the lap set on the final lap of the superstock TT race.
