If you thought this lap time was staggering, then wait for the lap time clocked, post third circulation of the 5.15 kilometres long Horice course. 2 minutes 11.843 seconds!

Not surprisingly, Datzer’s new unofficial lap record, proved more than enough for SBK qualifying victory.
Erno Kostamo (2.13.150 – 38 Motorsport / Penz 13 – BMW) finished nearest chaser, 1.337 seconds in arrears, as he himself also neared the previous lap-record.
IRRC SBK Championship leader Come Geenen (2.15.264), taking like a duck to water, to the ‘Czech TT’ was third fastest.
Didier Grams (2.15.502), Johannes Schwimmbeck (2.16.350) set the fourth, fifth quickest times whilst sixth rapidest Karel Pesek (2.16.847), finished leading non-BMW powered rider.
Spots seventh to tenth within the SBK Q2 results sheet were obtained by Markus Karlsson (2.17.835), Luca Gottardi (2.17.980), Laurent Hoffmann (2.19.074) and ex Stunt rider, Tomas Toth (2.19.834).
Brits watch wise, the Never Be Clever Racing pair of Rhys Hardisty (2.21.106), Darryl Tweed (2.22.067) snapped up the eleventh, sixteenth speediest Horice expeditions.
