Petr Najman rocketed to a first IRRC Supersport race win of the season, as yesterday’s qualifying winner turned on the style around a continuously sun kissed Horice.
Najman who controlled throughout the 10-lap race, ended up victorious by a huge 12.953 seconds, over fellow Czechia rider, Marek Cerveny.
Cerveny’s second place finish bulks up his 2024 season points total to 183.
He is now 17 points to the good over Performance Racing Achterhoek’s Adam McLean.
Tobermore’s McLean took third this morning with team-mate Ilja Caljouw one position further back, after winning a stirring three rider fight aside Gary Johnson (P5) and Karel ‘Chupa’ Brandtner (P6).
Czech TT hero Michal ‘Indi’ Dokoupil bested Wolfgang ‘Wolfi’ Schuster (P8) for seventh.
Mauro Poncini wrapped up the first ten finishers behind Pre-TT Classic front-runner, Rhys Hardisty.
Hardisty’s Never Be Clever Racing team-mate Darryl Tweed, had looked on course for a top ten finish, only to slide off out of race proceedings on lap eight.
Tweed’s misfortune enabled Karel Pesek, Jamie Williams, Matous Ondrusz, Miroslav Sloboda, Thomas Wendel to mop up placings eleventh-fifteenth.
