Full round up of some of the most interesting stats to emerge from the respective IRRC Supersport, Superbike championships of 2018.
The top six finishers within this years IRRC Superbike championship, were all S1000RR BMW mounted, whilst the leading non BMW mounted rider finishing seventh in the final standings was rising Czech roads star Tomas Borovka, who has piloted in 2018 the Motor Dzear Team Yamaha.
Whilst overall 21 riders scored ten points or more, including lead Kawasaki runner in ninth place, Lukas Maurer.
The UK’s first series champion, Wepol Racing by Penz 13.com’s Danny Webb is just the fifth racer to become IRRC Superbike champion, following in the footsteps of Didier Grams (2010, 2011, 2013, 2014), Branko Srdanov (2012), Sebastien Le Grelle (2015, 2017) and Vincent Lonbois (2016).

In total just four riders this season secured IRRC Supersport victories they were new champion Matthieu Lagrive, Laurent Hoffmann, Thomas Walther and victor at Terlicko, Jonathan Goetschy.
Sole Honda representative within the Supersport class was Poland’s Krystian Paluch, who banked solid points finishes at Horice and Frohburg.
Other manufacturers who’s representation was pretty slim included Suzuki, there was though positives a plenty to be taken from 2017 continental European roads competition, as GSX-R 600 mounted Jochen Rotter finished a very respectable seventh in the final championship standings.
Combined Supersport and Superbike classes wise, six manufacturers enjoyed representation including Suter courtesy of Henrik Voit.
