Improving IRRC Exponent Maurer Set For Mountain Course Debut

Switzerland’s Lukas Maurer is set to be the latest high level IRRC exponent to take on the fabled Mountain Course, having confirmed that he will compete for the first time next year at the TT Races.

Established in recent times amongst his nations foremost closed roads competitors, the affable Maurer has quietly impressed many with his performances at iconic circuits such as Imatranajo and Frohburger Dreieck.

Ninth within this years IRRC Superbike series, main highlights of the season included finishing overall leading Kawasaki mounted competitor following series of impressive rides, including top six finishes at Hengelo and Terlicko.

Alongside his exploits on 1000cc machinery, Blau Power Bikes backed Maurer also enjoyed a strong IRRC Supersport tenure, finishing an impressive fifth in the final championship standings, amassing a total of 118 points.

A highly ambitious racer, there’s no doubt that he has the core roads craft to go onto gel quickly with the illustrious, mythical, magical Mountain Course.
