Horice Road Races – Superbike/Supersport Qualifying Wrap Up


Four time IRRC superbike champion Didier Grams, topped the time sheets during superbike qualifying, at the Horice Road Races, in the Czech Republic.

Didier lapped at 2 minutes 17.298 seconds to finish almost 0.7 quicker than his closest competitor Petr Biciste, on the G&G Motorsport backed S1000RR BMW.

Marek Cerveny, reigning IRRC supersport champion, finished an excellent third quickest, as Ales Nechvatal and Matti Seidel fourth and fifth fastest, showcased good pace around Horice.

The top six in qualifying was completed by Lukas Maurer, additional stand out performances from qualifying included Pavel Tomecek finishing ninth quickest and Horice newcomer Shaun Anderson 2010 newcomers A Manx Grand Prix runner up, 12th fastest.

Marek Cerveny, Intermoto backed ZX6R Kawasaki, dominated supersport qualifying at Horice, lapping at 2 minutes 18.463 seconds, to clinch pole position.

Austria’s Jochen Rotter second quickest, is aiming in the future to compete at the most famous road race in the world, the Isle of Man TT.

2012 newcomers A Manx Grand Prix winner Kamil Holan, third fastest, has the proven pace around Horice, to be a sharp end factor in both supersport races tomorrow.

Richard Sedlak, Miroslav Sloboda and Daryl Doerlich concluded the top six, as Karel Brandtner, Wolfgang Schuster, Petr Wiesenberg and Christian Schmitz, all clinched top ten placing’s in qualifying.
