Having made an eye catching debut around the Triangle in 2015, Glenn Irwin is keen to compete for the second time at the North West 200.
Although still to confirm the machinery that he will be piloting, there’s a possibility that he could be in action on the factory backed Be Wiser Ducati for the superbike races.
Back in 2008 Michael Rutter propelled the North West 200 Ducati to superbike race one victory, as the famous Italian marque returned to the winners circle at the iconic road race.
More success could be on the cards for Ducati at the Giant Causeway based road race this year, with Glenn keen to provide another moment of triangle magic for the Bologna based company.

Regarded by many to be a multiple international road race winner in the making, he has the proven talent to in the future become an all time great at the North West 200.
In my opinion he will start amongst the pre favourites for feature superbike success at the opening international road race of 2016.
For me it’s going to be a tough task for Glenn to be victorious in either of the superbike races, the level of competition is incredibly high.
He has though the confidence, self belief and determination to beat the likes of Alastair Seeley, Peter Hickman, Lee Johnston, Ian Hutchinson, Michael Dunlop, John McGuinness and Bruce Anstey.
