French Star Leblond Set To Link Up With Claeys For TT 2019

Leading French Sidecar driver Estelle Leblond, is set to link up with fellow accomplished, high calibre Mountain Course exponent Frank Claeys for competition within the Optimark Road Racing outfit at TT 2019.

Respectively both Leblond and Claeys, have impressive TT records which include securing between them nine top 15 finishes and overall 13 top 20 finishes.

TT 2018 saw the French, Belgian three wheeling competitors both quietly hugely impress. Driver Leblond, competing for a second successive TT alongside Melanie Farnier, finished an excellent ninth within the second Locate.im Sidecar race.

Whilst well respected racing passenger Claeys fourth TT venture, saw him alongside the vastly experienced Gordon Shand claim 11th, 14th place finishes in the record breaking three lap Locate.im Sidecar races.

It wouldn’t at all surprise various astute road racing aficionados if Leblond/Claeys, acquire top eight finishes or better at TT 2019, as both aim to continue their rising momentum on the fabled, mythical Mountain Course.

Outside of TT 2019, the Suzuki powered Optimark outfit looks also set to grace a selection of Europe’s most famous, prestigious closed roads events, with outings at Hengelo, Imatranajo, Chimay and Frohburg in the teams 2019 race schedule.
