Founds/Lowther Unveil Barry Sheene Classic Project

TT podium finishers Alan Founds/Jake Lowther are the latest elite roads names, to confirm their presence at this month’s Barry Sheene Classic.

Third within the opening Sidecar race of TT 2019, Cloud Vapers backed Founds/Lowther have already shown this year during opening FSRA British F2 Championship rounds strong form and their progress around the tight, twisty Oliver’s Mount circuit will be monitored closely.

Whilst passenger Lowther, is no stranger to Scarborough having competed successively for many years alongside brother John Lowther, driver Founds will be a newcomer to England’s only road race circuit.

Set to be the first member of the Founds racing family to race at Scarborough, he stated recently via Facebook his thoughts on his latest road race challenge:

“Looking forward to it and to be the first Founds to the Mount not even dad has turned a wheel here. Big thank you to those helping to support this meeting with an ever changing schedule.”

Founds/Lowther will carry the 44 plate at the Barry Sheene Classic, which reminder takes place from the 26th-27th June.
