Rainford Models supported James Ford is the latest seasoned roads competitor to announce his intention to tackle the eagerly anticipated, KDM Hire Cookstown 100.
Ford who placed fifth within the Newcomers B Manx Grand Prix of 2013, 14th in last August’s Lightweight Classic TT, first Irish roads tenure at Cookstown, sees him entered on a Padgetts prepared YZF R6 Yamaha, that sports a distinctive blue and white livery.

Set to sample the Junior Support, Senior Support races, Derbyshire based Ford like fellow Orritor Circuit debutants Julian Trummer and David Datzer, has the core roads craft to gel quickly with one of Irish Road Racing’s most respected, prestigious and loved roads courses.
Reminder again the KDM Hire Cookstown 100, which at present is taking place at the same time as the three day Scarborough Gold Cup meet at Oliver’s Mount, takes centre stage from the 11th-12th of September.
