BikeBitsNI Racing’s Derek Sheils clinched open race victory at Faugheen 50 Road Races, following a top draw all round performance.
Since TT 2015 Derek has struck a rich vein of form, sealing victories at Skerries, Walderstown plus lapping close to the 130 mph mark at the Ulster Grand Prix.
Piloting his own teams ZX10R Kawasaki, Derek McGee finished in second place. Derek has proven again this season why many people believe he is a TT Races winner in the future.
William Dunlop finished in third place, following highly accomplished display on superstock spec Tyco BMW.
John Walsh sealed excellent fourth place finish, Seamus Elliott’s stellar season continues with fifth place finish on JFM Haulage backed R6 Yamaha.
Concluding the top six finishers was rising star Paul Jordan, who is the current leader of the 2015 Irish road race 125 championship.
Thomas Maxwell finished in seventh place as GSX-R 1000 Suzuki mounted Noel Carroll enjoyed a highly productive outing finishing in eighth.
