Derek McGee has joined forces with Cookstown BE Racing for super twin outing’s on the teams ER6 Kawasaki, at the upcoming Armoy Road Races and the world’s fastest road race, the Ulster Grand Prix.
Cookstown BE Racing team owner John Burrows, is looking forward to working with Derek, as they target series of stand out results around Armoy and Dundrod.

A proven exponent of the super twins class, Derek is confident of been near the sharp end at the Ulster GP, as he aims to make it back to back 650 victories, having secured last year a memorable victory in ultra tricky conditions.
Main highlights of his 2016 roads campaign to date include finishing runner up in the open race at the Cookstown 100, series of highly creditable results sealed at TT 2016, plus impressing on the Joey’s Bar Racing RS125 Honda, showcased by his second place finish at Skerries.

Next pure road race meeting on the horizon for the 2015 Irish road race super twins champion, is this weekends Walderstown Road Races.
He starts amongst the firm favourites for victories in the open, supersport and grand final races, as he pilots the Noel Williamson Racing S1000RR BMW and NJ Doyne backed YZF R6 Yamaha.
