Two time TT winner Gary Johnson is set to compete for the second time at Germany’s premier pure road race meeting, the Frohburg Road Races.
Having had a solid TT 2016 campaign with Penz 13.Com BMW, Gary’s next roads action is set to be at Frohburg, as he lines up for Rico Penzkofer’s team.
Last year saw Gary make an impressive debut at Frohburg, sealing fourth and third place finishes in the opening IRRC Superbike and Open Superbike race two encounters.
An established world class pure road racer, he has the undoubted talent and pace, to wrap up series of victories, at a meeting which in recent years has seen many a TT star, produce many a eye catching performance.
Looking further ahead, the rider who provided Penz 13.Com BMW, with a new personal best Mountain Course result at TT 2016, is confident of pushing for at least a podium finish, at the Macau Grand Prix.
Third place finisher in the 2013 Macau GP, he’s a definite potential front runner, as he is at Frohburg, which takes place on the 24th to the 25th of September.
