Dean Harrison has joined Silicone Engineering Racing, for the 2016 pure road racing season.
The current Steve Henshaw international gold cup champion, is embarking on a fresh new challenge, with a team which recently enjoyed senior Manx Grand Prix success with Malachi Mitchell Thomas.

Expectations are high that the combination can be a highly successful one, as both team and rider targets results of the absolute highest quality at North West 200, Ulster Grand Prix and TT Races.
Ever since making his mountain course debut at TT 2011, Dean Harrison has gone from strength to strength, at the Isle of Man TT.
Alongside lightweight TT success in 2014, second place finish in 2014 superstock TT, lap speed of 130.261 mph plus fourth place finishes in supersport encounters, are all proof of why Dean is regarded by many as a senior TT winner in the making.
Commenting on joining Silicone Engineering Racing, Dean said:
Dean said “As soon as I met Paul and the rest of the team and saw the set-up from the bike preparation to the calibre of the other riders and their knowledge, I knew it was a great opportunity to join a team on the up.
The flexibility of how the team is run was another plus for me as I can really have an influence on key decisions on the bike, which I believe will take me to greater levels and hopefully bring success to the team.”
Having endured an ultra challenging TT 2015, he’s confident he can get back on the podium at TT Races in 2016.
In recent years Dean has established himself as arguably the lead competitor around Oliver’s Mount.

Silicone Engineering Racing are gaining in Dean a pure road racer of the highest calibre.
Team manager Paul Iddon was delighted at securing Dean’s signature for international road races in 2016 and 2017.
“We’re absolutely delighted to have Dean come on board and join us for the next two years. It is a massive opportunity for Silicone Engineering Racing to take the step to another level and push the team to new heights.”
We’re a relatively new team to road racing and with Dean’s success and stature within the sport we can really grow our brand name and achieve big things in the next couple of years.”
Paul Kinsella managing director of Silicone Engineering commented:
“We were all excited to hear of Dean’s initial interest in in the Silicone Engineering team.
His profile in the racing world means our company name and brand will be given maximum exposure which is great for the business, we are all hoping Dean brings us success on the track.”
Already a two time international road race winner, Dean Harrison has the undoubted talent in my opinion, to in the future secure over 20 international road race victories.
