David Johnson is returning to action at the Ulster Grand Prix, for the first time since 2011.
The ninth fastest rider in TT history’s record around Dundrod, is an excellent one. On his debut at the world’s fastest road race in 2010 Davo secured second place finishes in Dundrod 150 challenge and national races.
Following years UGP saw David ZX10R Kawasaki mounted, as he competed for the Sondel Sport Racing Kawasaki team, superbike race two would see him finish a fine tenth.
TT 2015 marked his fifth time competing at TT Races. He went onto secure string of top class results, which included sixth place finish in Royal London 360 superstock TT, as he showed high quality form on Smiths Racing S1000RR BMW.
Blue riband senior TT proved to be highly prodigious for the rider tipped by many, to in the future become a Isle of Man TT winner.
Ninth place finish was achieved, following an excellent all round performance, which saw him become Australia’s fastest competitor around the mountain course, following lap speed of 131.595 mph.
It’s great news for the 2015 Ulster Grand Prix, that David Johnson is all set to compete for the third time at one of pure road racing’s most iconic meetings.
